Thoughts?

I think it looks great, it seems like a different role for Johnny Depp from his recent films. Can't wait to see it.

I always look forward to Johnny Depp films since he always chooses the strange roles and somehow perfects them, and seeing him as a mobster is just going to be plain awesome.

I completely agree, he really looks bad ass in this, it seems different from his last few projects, so it will be interesting to see him in this role.

I put up my own short, quick review of the movie, but I thought it was really well done. My only complaint, which I'm making known to everybody, is that Christian Bale has a horrible Southern accent.

I heard it was paced a little too slow. Would you agree?

Well, if you're comparing it to movies like The Dark Knight or Live Free or Die Hard, it is a little slow. But if you're comparing it to the mobster genre in general such as The Godfather or The Goodfellows, it is much faster paced with a lot more action.
