All honesty and truth: this movie was not the best live action representation of the 80's icon that we grew up with. But I have to give it the fun that I haphazardly expected from "Tranformers 2". I mean I walked into "GI Joe" expecting absolutely nothing important: just a "knowing is half the battle" shout out and character name dropping. But any live action 'remake' movie of a toy line that captured so many wallets during Christmas time in the 80's, where the makers wouldn't allow the film to be reviewed ahead of time in the first place, should have set off the bs radars for any "GI Joe" fan. That's like putting The Rock in as He Man and it not setting of a red flag because he's not blonde. Probably makes no sense, I understand. All I'm saying is this: the story sucked, the events were jumbled, Wayans was "funny" for sheer black need and there were 3 actors from the "Mummy Returns" in that film. Just something to keep you cool if you're hot in the summer. And P.S: Sienna Miller looks great with black hair. Just needs to eat a burger.
